Zac Efron discusses working with Nicole Kidman on 'A Family Affair'

Zac Efron is geared to return to the screens with Nicole Kidman alongside him, as the two rekindle their onscreen romance.

The two actors would appear in Netflix’s original rom-com, titled, A Family Affair where Joey King stars as the protagonist.

King’s mother is portrayed by Kidman who unexpectedly gets romantically involved with her boss, played by Efron, who happens to be a famous actor in the film too.

In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE magazine, the 36-year-old actor called A Family Affair, "funny, romantic and entertaining."

This project marks Efron and Kidman working together after over a decade since they last acted together in the 2012 thriller movie, The Paperboy, where the two shared steamy scenes on-screen.

Referring to the time he worked with the 56-year-old actress, Efron also told the outlet that he was nervous as an actor in his 20s working with Kidman.

As the High School Musical star explained filming A Family Affair, he said, "I was still a bit apprehensive but reuniting with Nicole is always so great and as talented as she as an actress, she is equally kind, caring, and wonderful to spend time with.”
