Rachel McAdams apologizes to ‘The Notebook' musical's Joy Woods for THIS reason 

Rachel McAdams revealed what she talked about with The Notebook musical alum Joy Wood in a recent interview. 

The 45-year-old has recently debuted in the world of Broadways with her play Mary Jane in which she portrays a single mom in an ‘impossible family situation’. 

Promoting her Broadway production, the actress appeared in a recent episode of Good Morning America where she also talked about her meeting with Woods. 

She talked about one of the most iconic rain scene in the acclaimed movie and then transitioned to revealing that the cast of the musical adaptation showed up for Mary Jane. 

“The lovely cast of the musical came to our [Mary Jane] opening night and I say Joy Woods and I said, ‘I’m so sorry about all that rain’”, she told inciting laughs from the hosts. 

“She was like, ‘No worry I threw my hair up, ‘cause my hair still wet from the show earlier that day’”, she added. 

However, the Academy Award-nominated actress praised the rain scene, calling it an amazing addition to the theatrical experience. 

She remarked, “But yeah, I hear it makes for great theatre, I guess. Having all that rain actually on stage and in the show and I’ve heard it’s amazing”, before noting, “I’m very excited to see it”. 

The said musical premiered on March 14 and stars Woods as Allie opposite Ryan Vasquez as Noah
