Ryan Gosling recently shared what hid daughter forbade him to do.

In a new chat with People Magazine, the 43-year-old actor talked about his newly released flick, The Fall Guy.

During this chat, Ryan told the outlet, “My kids didn't want me to be set on fire,” when “asked specifically” about any pyrotechnics that he avoided.

To note here, Ryan Gosling is the father to daughters 9-year-old Esmeralda Amada, and 8-year-old Amada Lee, with reported wife Eva Mendes.

“Even though I said, ‘Well, it's actually, technically the safer thing to do because there's a lot of protective stuff involved,’” he explained.

However, this justification did not seem to satisfy his daughters who “were like, ‘No. No fire.’ So I didn't do it.”

Touching on the movie’s opening scene, he also admitted, “This was orchestrated so that it would happen after a long, very involved take that starts outside, comes inside, up the elevators about 12 stories.”

“When I got [to the ledge] I was like, ‘I think I'm going to need to put on sunglasses for no reason, so that the audience doesn't see how afraid I am,’” he joked before moving to another topic.
