ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has written a letter to the provincial governments as well as Frontier Constabulary and Rangers Chief to ensure law and order during the upcoming general elections, adding that terrorism must be dealt with an iron hand.
The ECP has also issued a list of 'sensitive' and 'most sensitive' polling stations across the country, revealing that there are 11,053 'sensitive' and 10,237 'most sensitive' polling stations in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Punjab has 2,911 sensitive and 2,617 most sensitive polling stations, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 2,980 sensitive and 1,056 most sensitive, and Sindh 3,621 sensitive and 4,629 most sensitive polling stations
In Balochistan 1,071 sensitive and 1,451 most sensitive polling stations and FATA 459 sensitive and 510 most sensitive polling stations.
