Zendaya, Tom Holland talked about downside of fame before engagement

Zendaya and Tom Holland are rumoured to be engaged.

Nonetheless, the pair have not confirmed this news yet, and seemingly this is because she wants to keep her personal life away from public scrutiny.

In a resurfaced GQ interview from November 2021, Tom and Zendaya explained why they keep their relationship out of the spotlight.

The actor began, "One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn't really in our control anymore.”

“And a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world," the Spider-man star added.

"The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own," Zendaya added.

It is pertinent to mention here that 2021 was the same here when the couple confirmed their romance despite the fact that they sparked romance rumours in 2017.

This report resurfaced amid Zendaya set the internet ablaze when she sported a huge diamond ring on her ring finger at the at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards.
