Chris Brown breaks silence on prison release ahead of tour

Chris Brown celebrated his prison release on Wednesday with a short six-word message online.

Taking to Instagram just hours after his bail from HMP Forrest Bank in Salford, the singer anticipated his upcoming performances across Europe.

"From the cage to the stage!!! Breezybowl," Brown posted via Instagram Stories.

Southwark Magistrates Court Judge Tony Baumgartner approved Brown's bail on Wednesday, confirming that the singer's scheduled tour dates across the globe can still go ahead.

Brown still has a court hearing due next month concerning accusations that he used a bottle to cause bodily harm to music producer Abe Diaw during a night out at London's Tape nightclub in Mayfair on February 19, 2023.

His release comes only days after being charged with the offense, which showed him being whisked away from prison this afternoon in a sleek silver Mercedes Benz Vito with his entourage.

Brown was arrested at the Lowry Hotel, Salford, on May 15 after jetting into nearby Manchester Airport to rehearse for his upcoming Breezy Bowl XX 20th anniversary tour.
