John Krasinski gives special advice to next Sexiest Man Alive

John Krasinski, who was PEOPLE's 2024 Sexiest Man Alive, is ready to pass the torch to the next lucky leading man.

Speaking to the magazine on Monday at the premiere of his upcoming film Fountain of Youth, the 45-year-old actor shared some advice he has for next Sexiest Man Alive.

"Buckle up. It is a hard crown to wear, but you'll be all right. Just stay focused," said John. 

"Take a deep breath, you'll get through it," he added.

For those unversed, John Krasinski's new film, Fountain of Youth, will be released on Apple TV+ on May 23. In the film, John plays Natalie Portman's brother.

Elsewhere in the interview, the actor also praised the film's director, Guy Ritchie.

"Who's not obsessed with Guy? I don't know. I mean, he's got a heck of an accent," said John.

"He's so gregarious. He's got the best vibe. He's the nicest, sweetest, calmest person, and he talks to them like adults, and so he wasn't talking to them like kids,” continued the IF star.

John added, “He was asking 'em what they wanted to eat and did they want him to cook for them and all that stuff, and they just thought they were in the movie. I think they thought this was their big break."
