Prince Harry and Meghans royal titles removed in US communication

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were allegedly referred to as "former Duke and Duchess of Sussex" by an officer of the New York Police Department (NYPD) ahead of their "Mandela Day" visit to the UN in 2022, according to a screenshot of a purported email.

"I received a call from City Hall regarding the former Duke and Duchess of Sussex visit to NYC on July 18th," read the screenshot of the email from an officer.

The email, claimed to have been acquired through Freedom of Information Request, has been widely circulated on social media platforms, with some users mocking the royal couple.

The email's authenticity has not been officially confirmed by the NYPD.

The supporters of King Charles and Prince William have long been calling for the removal of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal titles, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The email was allegedly sent by the NYPD officer who reportedly reached out to Torchstone Global, likely a private security or consulting firm, to coordinate efforts ahead of the royal couple's visit.

The officer who sent the email appeared to be unfamiliar with royal protocol because Harry and Meghan were and still are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended the United Nations' Nelson Mandela International Day event in New York City on July 18, 2022.

The event took place at the UN General Assembly Hall, commemorating Nelson Mandela's legacy.

Prince Harry delivered the keynote address, reflecting on Mandela's life and drawing parallels to contemporary global challenges. He emphasized issues such as climate change, the war in Ukraine, and the rollback of constitutional rights in the United States
