King Charles is reportedly expected to break a long-standing royal tradition.

As reported by The Telegraph Charles might not move to Buckingham Palace, even after its major renovation is complete.

Charles will reprotedly continue to live at Clarence House, where he has resided since 2003.

It is worth mentioning that this would mean that King Charles will become the first monarch since Queen Victoria to not use Buckingham Palace as his main home.

Amid King Charles' ongoing cancer treatment the royal aides have been keeping his diagnosis in mind when it comes to his living situation.

The Telegraph's associate editor Camilla Tominey wrote, "One concession to his health and advancing years that has been made, however, is that it appears unlikely he will ever move from Clarence House to Buckingham Palace after the restoration is completed in three year's time."

But Camilla noted that the Buckingham Palace would still "remain the household's office for the rest of his reign."

It comes after the reports in 2022 when an insider told the Times that King Charles "is no fan of 'the big house,' as he calls the palace."

"He doesn't see it as a viable future home or a house that's fit for purpose in the modern world," the source added at the time.
