Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have found a way to escape the ongoing Royal tensions by planning a summer getaway.
According to a report, the Duchess of Sussex has taken the lead to organize a holiday for the Sussex family as they decide to prioritize family time.
A source revealed that Meghan is organizing trips for the family which includes wine tastings in Napa, family outings to Big Sur and Northern California, and a visit to a close friend in Colorado, per OK! Magazine.
The couple is also considering a trip to Canada, where they have a standing invitation to stay with friends David Foster and Katharine McPhee, as well as options in Ontario’s Lake Muskoka region.
"Meghan is leading the charge and planning all sorts of getaways for them, some with the kids and some just the two of them," the source revealed.
They added, "She wants to go to Napa with Harry, do wine tastings, she wants to go to Big Sur and other parts of Northern California with the kids.
“A trip to see her close friend in Colorado is in the books. And she and Harry are even talking about visiting Canada.”
They went on to add that the former actor is making a "big effort to prop up" Harry as he navigates life after multiple rejections from King Charles.
Meghan wants "remind him that he's got all he needs with her and the kids and their beautiful life in America,” the insider added.
She wants this summer dedicated to "bonding as a family and unwinding after a hectic time for both of them," they added.
This comes as Harry told BBC that he knows some members of the Royal family would never forgive him for writing his bombshell memoir Spare.
He also talked of his hopes to reunite with his ailing father, King Charles, who has refused to take his calls or meet with him.
