50 Cent trolled Sean "Diddy" Combs throughout the rap mogul's trial by referencing pieces of witness testimony on Instagram.
The rapper is going to celebrate his milestone birthday on Sunday after facing a huge disappointment caused by the jury's decision to clear Diddy of some serious charges. The music mogul was cleared of sex trafficking and racketeering charges that could have put him behind bars for life but found guilty of lesser prostitution-related offenses.
50 Cent, Real name Curtis James Jackson III, was born in Queens, New York City in 1975.
He rose to fame following the release of his hit debut album "Get Rich or Die Tryin" in 2003.
The hit record, was produced by rapper Eminem and producer and rapper Dr. Dre. It went on to sell millions of copies worldwide.
50 Cent became one of the world's best-selling rappers, well known for tracks such as "In Da Club", "Candy Shop" and "P.I.M.P".
In 2010 he won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group at the 52nd Grammy Awards, along with Eminem and Dr. Dre, for their performance of "Crack A Bottle".
50 Cent has also pursued a career as an actor in the semi-autobiographical film about his life, "Get Rich or Die Tryin", named after his debut album, as well as in “Home of the Brave” alongside actors Samuel L. Jackson and Jessica Biel.
He also starred in and produced U.S. crime drama-thriller television series "Power" (2014-2020).
50 Cent has a son, Marquise Jackson, 28, with then-partner Shaniqua Tompkins. He also has a younger son called Sire Jackson, 12, with his then-partner Daphne Joy.
