Princess Anne is clearly in her glamour prime.
After lighting up Wednesday’s banquet with the Princess of Wales and Duchess of Edinburgh, she delivered a second knockout look the very next night and stole the spotlight all over again.
On Thursday evening, Anne and Sir Timothy Laurence were the stars of a glittering banquet at London’s Guildhall, held in honour of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and First Lady Elke Büdenbender.
Before dinner, the group lined up for photographs that looked straight out of a royal portrait gallery.
Anne’s outfit delivered peak winter royalty, and when she turned, it revealed an intricate black and white woven design on her jacket that resembled tulips intertwined with diamond shapes.
Seated beside the President, she crowned the night with a familiar favourite her beloved Diamond Festoon Tiara.
It’s one of her signature pieces and marked her second tiara moment of the week, following Wednesday’s appearance of the Cartier Aquamarine Pineflower Tiara.
The Festoon, gifted to Anne in 1973 by the World Wide Shipping Group and immortalised in her 23rd birthday portraits, has long been one of her most treasured diadems.
She rotates between four tiaras in her collection, and this week she treated royal watchers to two sparkling cameos.
