The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Australia trip was initially thought to be a brief stopover.
It was centered largely on Meghan’s appearance at the high-ticket Her Best Life retreat in Sydney, where access starts at £1,400 and includes a gala dinner, meals, and two nights at the InterContinental Hotel.
But as Royal Editor Emily Nash revealed on the latest episode of A Right Royal Podcast, this tour has ballooned into a full-scale operation.
Emily explained that Meghan is keen to use the trip to launch and promote her brand, seizing every opportunity that comes her way, while Harry will be reconnecting with his deep military ties in Australia.
Having briefly served with the Australian Defence Force and with Invictus having been hosted there in 2018, the Duke is expected to spend time with familiar circles and events.
The Sussexes’ itinerary now spans three major cities Melbourne, Canberra, and Sydney.
It promises a mix of public appearances, private meetings, and plenty of opportunities for locals to interact with them.
