Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey send fans wild by confirming rumours

Ariana Grande and Jonathan Bailey brought fans’ dreams come true with a reunion in an upcoming project after their strong chemistry on Wicked.

The 37-year-old British actor and Grande, 32, took to Instagram and confirmed the rumours with a touching post, featuring a picture of them sitting in front of Georges Seurat’s painting, “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte.”

The picture was a nod to Stephen Sondheim’s beloved musical, Sunday in the Park With George, which is inspired by the painting.

“All it has to be is good,” Bailey wrote in the caption alongside, quoting the lyrics from the musical’s title song.

Fans flocked to the comments and expressed their excitement about the news, with one writing, “ARIANA AND JONATHAN IN ‘SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE’ CONFIRMED !!!! IM SHAKING,” and “Making our dreams come true,” added another.

It was previously reported that the Wicked co-stars were in talks for the revival of the Broadway show, which was last performed in 2017, with Jake Gyllenhaal and Annaleigh Ashford.
