Following a match against China, they will face Italy on Saturday, September 5, before a showdown with the Czech Republic on Monday, September 7, 2026.

The FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup takes place in Berlin, Germany, with 16 participating teams, and runs from September 4 to 13, 2026.

Ahead of the Team USA opener against China on Friday, September 4, an old clip featuring Clark passing out hoops to Reese has been making the rounds on the internet.

The clip has gone viral, with fans praising the on-court chemistry between the two WNBA powerhouses.

The NBA has a break for the World Cup, thus offering fans an opportunity to see the two trailblazing WNBA stars as teammates to defend the title for the fifth time.

USA Basketball are chasing a fifth straight title and are the stronger contenders, with a 30-game winning streak.

In the previous competitions, Team USA has beaten China in all 15 matches, whether it's World Cup or Olympic clashes, including twice at the 2022 tournament.
