WhatsApp is reportedly working on a feature that will enable iPhone users to run three separate accounts within the same app on a single phone.
The report shared by WABetaInfo stated that the discovery was made in WhatsApp beta version 26.37.10.15, currently available through TestFlight. If rolled out, the feature would expand on the two-account support that WhatsApp introduced for iPhone users in early June 2026 with update 26.22.76.
As per the report, the account selection screen will be similar to what users experience right now, with each profile having the name, profile photo, and phone number, along with the green tick denoting the currently selected account. Users who have two accounts created would also get the option to "Add account" and thereby add a third phone number.
It is also worth mentioning that the accounts will be kept separate from each other. All the chats, notifications, privacy settings, backups, and media saved will be associated with the respective accounts. The incoming message will denote which profile it belongs to, and the app lock option will be applicable to the respective accounts only.
This feature development is specifically targeted towards those users who are using a WhatsApp Business account or have another phone to handle the second number.
However, this is still in development and is not yet available even to beta testers. There’s no official release data for this yet.
