The TTP is being led by Gul Zaman while the Lashkar-e-Islam is being led by Mangal Bagh. The Jirga is also being attended by Taliban leaders from North, South Waziristan and Orakzai Agency.
The Jirga is deliberating on restoring confidence, eliminating differences and the exchange of prisoners. The deadlock in dialogue between the government and Taliban and the targeted operation is also under discussion.
