KARACHI: Two young men including an activist of Awami National Party (ANP) were gunned down in different areas of the city on Tuesday, police and rescue sources said.
Thirty-five-year old Amin s/o Raheem was shot dead by unknown armed men in Sherpao Colony, Landhi area, in the limits of Quaidabad Police Station. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center and later handed over to heirs.
According to Police the deceased was affiliated to ANP. Panic spread in the area after the incident and shops and petrol pumps were closed.
Meanwhile, one, Muhammad Aqeel, 25, s/o Muhammad Yaseen was gunned down by unidentified armed men in Baldia Town. His body was taken to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico legal formalities.
