KARACHI: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast rain/thundershower for isolated places of Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar divisions and Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan from today that will continue till Sunday, Geo News reported.
Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. According to the synoptic situation, seasonal low lies over Balochistan and adjoining areas.
Monsoon currents are penetrating in most parts of the country.
In last 24 hours, weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country, however isolated rain/thundershower occurred in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar divisions and Kashmir.
The highest maximum temperature recorded at Dadu, Sakkur, Nawabshah and Dalbandin was 43 C.
The rainfall recorded in last 24 hours was Muzaffarabad 46 mm, Dir 41, Balakot 33, Saidu Sharif 22, Garidupatta 14, Malamjabba 11 and Parachinar 04 mm.
