ECP invites applications for symbol allotment by March 15

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has invited applications from Pakistan's political parties by March 15 for allotment of election symbols for the upcoming general elections.

According to a statement issued here at ECP, all the political parties will be required to submit applications for the allotment of election symbols by March 15. Every party will need to mention two alternative symbols in their applications, it added.

The political parties which have failed to conduct intra-party elections or to declare assets will not be allotted election symbols, the ECP statement further said.
