ECP, political parties March 18 meeting cancelled

ISLAMABAD: A meeting between political parties and Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) which was scheduled to be held on March 18 has been cancelled, sources said.

According to law ministry, it has written a letter to the ECP, telling the commission that Farooq H Naek would not be a law minister on March 18 following the completion of 5-year term of the government.

It is pertinent to mention here that the ECP had given time to the political parties on March 18 to discuss issues relating nomination papers.
