MQM MPs to return salaries after resignations accepted

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement has decided that its MPs will return salaries after resignations of provincial and National Assembly members were accepted.

The MQM Spokesman said, “MPs to return salaries of past two months after their resignations were accepted. Also, none of the MQM member National and Sindh Assembly is currently availing any privileges.”

The spokesman went on to say that opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly has also vacated his office.

MQM MPs have tendered resignation from assemblies two months back, however, these were yet to be accepted. The salaries of these members are being transferred to their respective bank accounts despite it.
