Pilot ejects safely as PAF fighter jet crashes in Mianwali
MIANWALI: A fighter aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed during a routine operational training in Tehsil Isakhel of Mianwali in the Punjab province, with the pilot ejecting safely, Geo News reported Thursday.

According to a PAF spokesman, an F-7P fighter jet was on a routine training mission when it crashed near Isakhel in Mianwali district.

The pilot, Flying Officer Taha, however managed to eject and landed safely with minor injuries.

Security forces arrived at the crash site and cordoned off the area.

The cause for the crash was not known immediately, however, the authorities have ordered investigation into the accident.
