Nisar demands formation of judicial commission over Kargil issue
ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar has demanded formation of a judicial commission on the Kargil issue, following recent revelations about former president General (retired) Pervez Musharraf by General (retired) Shahid Aziz.

Speaking to the media outside the Parliament, Nisar said General Musharraf had several soldiers martyred without taking the army into confidence.

While speaking about the issue of the caretaker government, Nisar said it seems unlikely that the government and opposition would come to an agreement, adding that the issue will be handed over to the election commission.

He further added that even if the government and opposition come to an agreement over the setup, the opposition will never be in agreement with Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran Chief Tahirul Qadri.

Nisar also said the decision for the formation of a new province in Punjab had not been taken in consultation with the PML-N, adding that the party will raise a privilege motion over the issue in the National Assembly.

Announcing February 4th as the date for the sit-in outside the Parliament, the opposition leader said Jamiat ul Ulema Pakistan and Sunni Tehreek will also participate in the sit-in along with PML-N.
