NOTTINGHAM: Wicketkeeper-batsman and vice-captain of Pakistan's ODI team Sarfraz Ahmad is looking forward to repeating the show which he displayed at Lord's last week, as Pakistan prepare to take on England in the third ODI in Nottingham on Tuesday.

Speaking exclusively Geo News at Trent Bridge ahead of Pakistan's must-win match, the young cricketer said that he is confident that the team will bounce back in the series.

"We are already at 9th in ranking, so I don't think we should take any pressure after two early defeats. We must concentrate on our next game and play it without pressure," he said.

"Players are very confident and eager to bounce back in the series from this match," said Sarfraz while replying to a question about the team's preparation for the third ODI.

The wicket keeper batsman added that the team has learned from the mistakes it committed in the last two games and will give a better show on Tuesday.

"Players are capable of delivering a better performance in the series," he said.

Sarfraz said scoring a century in any format at Lord's is a big honour and he is proud of being counted among people who have scored a ton at the home of cricket.

"It's a great feeling to score a century at Lord's. Every cricketer dreams of performing at this ground because it is considered as the home of cricket," he said.

"It has given me the confidence and I will try to repeat the performance for Pakistan in the matches to come," Sarfarz concluded.
