LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) on Monday gave an ultimatum to rival Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) till September 25 to finalise the route and venue of the Raiwind march.

PML-N leader Zaeem Qadri was addressing a press conference in Lahore where he said that the ruling party is giving time to PTI till September 25.

Qadri criticized the PTI chief, saying that Imran Khan forgot political boundaries and made personal attacks in his speeches.

“Imran Khan called Lahoris ‘Rangbaz’” said the PML-N leader, adding that this won’t fare well for the PTI chairman’s political career.

Zaeem Qadri also said that no mention of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's residence should be made.

After much ambiguity, Imran Khan on Sunday had given a final date for the Raiwind march – September 30.

He had said that during his address at the party’s workers convention in the capital. Imran Khan had also announced that the preparations for the Raiwind march would start from September 24.

Earlier today, armed with eggs and tomatoes workers of the PML-N took out a rally against PTI’s upcoming Raiwand march.

Gullu Butt’s brother makes entry at Zaeem Qadri’s press conference

The PML-N leader’s press conference did not go as planned as instances of indiscipline were witnessed, which made Zaeem Qadri leave the venue during the conference.

During the press conference, Abdulghani Butt entered the gathering, where Jan Nisar-e-Nawaz Sharif force workers assaulted him and tried to throw him out.

One of the force members said that Abdulghan Butt does not belong to PML-N, and he was at the venue to create chaos.

Later on, policemen took Abdulghani Butt along with them from the venue.

His brother, Gullu Butt was accused of damaging public property during the Model Town incident in 2014 protests against the government.
