Sindh police, government officers in contact with foreigners: Intelligence report

KARACHI: Sindh police and government officers who are in contact with foreign nationals or officials are under the strict monitoring of intelligence agencies.

According to well informed sources, there are intelligence reports that police and government officers are directly or indirectly in touch with the foreign nationals and officials.

According to an intelligence agency report presented to the Sindh government, certain highly influential criminals having affiliation with political parties are creating law and order situation in the province.

In this intelligence report it is also suggested that a code of conduct over the direct contact of government functionaries, especially police officers, should be introduced and implemented.  

The report sent to the Sindh government calls for strictly watching and requiring continuous checks.  The report also suggests that dual nationality of police and government officers be checked.
