Sindh reports its seventh polio case this year

ISLAMABAD: Another case of polio was confirmed in a one-year-old girl from Badin.

This year 18 polio cases have been reported in Pakistan, of which 7 are from Sindh.

Pakistan remains among the only three polio-endemic countries in the world along with Nigeria and Afghanistan. 

The virus which leaves a child crippled for life can only be prevented by timely vaccination.
