ISPR rejects reports of COAS, CJCSC's meeting with Hussain Nawaz

RAWALPINDI: The military on Wednesday contradicted the reports pertaining to some meetings held by the newly-appointed Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) Gen Zubair Mahmood Hayat.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) rejected the 'baseless' reports which appeared in a section of media, and on social media, that the CJCSC and COAS met Hussain Nawaz.

"The news is absolutely baseless and there is no truth in it," an ISPR spokesman said in a statement issued to news outlets.
