The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Monday forecasted very hot and dry weather in the plain areas of the country in the next twenty-four hours.
Continental air continues to prevail over most parts of the country, the MET said.
A shallow westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country.

Rain and thunderstorm are expected at a few places in Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.
The weather remained very hot and dry in most parts of the country.
