Rumours of heat stroke casualties are false: Edhi spokesman
In the past twelve days, Edhi Foundation received over 600 bodies

KARACHI: Spokesman of Edhi Foundation, on Saturday, declared the news of 600 casualties due to heatwave, as false rumours.
The death certificates of all the bodies brought in the past twelve days are present, said Edhi official Anwar Kazmi.
None of the deceased were declared dead due to heat stroke, he clarified.
According to Kazmi, the heatwave in the city is prevalent but none of the deaths can be attributed to heat stroke.
The public should not pay heed to such rumours, he appealed.
In the past twelve days, Edhi Foundation received over 600 bodies.
