'Bat' election symbol allotted to PTI after intra-party elections
ECP had earlier withdrawn PTI's election symbol for failing to hold intra-party elections.

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday re-allotted Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) the ‘bat’ election symbol, said a notification issued by the ECP.
PTI’s election symbol was withheld by the ECP due to the party not holding intra-party elections, which are mandatory under ECP rules for allotment of an election symbol.
Imran Khan was re-elected chairman of the party and PTI stalwart Shah Mahmood Qureshi as vice chairman for another term.
