LONDON: Owners of Pakistan Super League's Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi, along with the owners of Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Daredevils, have bought different franchises in South Africa's T20 Global League.

Fawad Rana of Lahore Qalandars has bought Durban's team while Javed Afridi of Peshawar Zalmi has acquired the rights of Benoni's team.

Shahrukh Khan, owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, will be running Cape Town's franchise while the owners of Delhi Daredevils will own Johannesburg's team.

"This will provide a virtual competition between PSL and IPL teams in South Africa's league," said Sameen Rana of Qalandars.
