Drizzle expected at some places along Sindh coast: MET

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Monday said that a seasonal low lies over North Balochistan and its adjoining areas on Monday.

A westerly wave continues to affect upper parts of the county, with monsoon currents expected to penetrate in Pakistan, the PMD said.

Hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain and dust-thundershowers with gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Zhob, Kalat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Mirpurkhas divisions, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, FATA and Kashmir.

Light rain and drizzle are expected at a few places along the Sindh coast.

Past weather

The weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country, however, rain and dust-thundershowers with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Kalat divisions, and Kashmir.
