ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan asked supporters to ‘immediately’ refrain from targeting former party member Ayesha Gulalai’s sister.

In a tweet on Thursday, Imran requested his supporters to immediately refrain from targeting Gulali’s sister.

Gulalai, an MNA of the party from South Waziristan, alleged on Tuesday that Imran had sent her inappropriate text messages. She had also alleged that the “honour of women is not safe” in the party.

Following the surfacing of allegations against Imran, several PTI leaders had cast aspersions on Gulalai’s younger sister, Maria Toorpakai Wazir, who is a decorated squash player.

In further tweets, Imran said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), after seeing its efforts to get him disqualified and smear campaign against him fail, is doing what it does best: Try and purchase its way into toppling the legitimate government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

“Rest assured there will be no counter offers/Changa Mangas,” he claimed.

Let those who sell their souls expose themselves, the PTI chief said.
