The post-mortem examination of the dead bodies of two minors recovered from Karachi’s Manghopir area revealed that they were killed before being locked in the car.

Police have found the bodies from an abandoned car parked at Umar Goth bus stop within the remit of the Manghopir police station on Wednesday.

The area people have informed the police about the smell coming out of the car. The police recovered the bodies and shifted them to Abbassi Shaheed Hospital where Medico-Legal Officer (MLO) Dr Abid Haroon performed the autopsy on the bodies.

As per the details in the autopsy report, they had sustained wounds on their heads by a hard and blunt weapon causing their death.

“Death occurred due to head injury leading to cardiorespiratory failure as a result of the impact of hard, heavy substance,” the report concluded.

“However, samples have been for chemical analysis to exclude sexual assault,” it added.

After the autopsy, the bodies were handed over to the families by the hospital authorities.

According to SHO of Manghopir police station Gul Mohammad Awan, the children were missing since May 10.

A kidnapping case was also registered on the complaint of the father of one of the missing child on the day when they disappeared, the police said.

Awan also informed Geo News that he had himself went to the area with the victims' parents where the children were last seen, however, they found no trace for the abducted kids.

According to sources, the father of slain Danish works as a gravel worker, whereas father of Obaid sells spare parts for cars.
