Nawakot two women slain, one suspect held

LAHORE: Two women were murdered barging into the house at Nawakot in the city area here, while the police have taken into custody one suspect, Geo News reported.

Police said that the two women’s bodies were recovered from a house at Jhuggi Nagran of Nawakot, one was identified as Nighat, while the other as Afzal Bibi. Police said that Afzal Bibi, 55 was choked to death, while Nighat was murdered by hitting at her head with an iron rod.

Police said that Afzal Bibi’s husband has been taken into custody on suspicion, while the slain women’s bodies have been sent for autopsy.
