The prime minister who was chairing the parliamentary parties meeting informed coalition partners that the government was not only willing to work with them but also with the opposition to ensure the supremacy of parliament.
“A democratic setup is in the interest of the country” Gilani said.
The decision to bring a resolution in parliament regarding the strengthening of the democratic set up was also approved during the meeting.
