ISLAMABAD: Spokesman for the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday said strict security measures will be adopted around SC on Jan 19 hearing when Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani will appear before the court, Geo News reported.
Special passes will be issued for entry into the Supreme Court's premises, he added.
According to the sources of Registrar Office, the SC bench headed by Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk issued a show cause notice to the Prime Minister over non-compliance with court orders
The show cause notice said as to why an action against the Prime Minister not be initiated for contempt of court and directed him to appear before the court to explain his position.
According to the details obtained by Geo News, the R & I Branch of the Prime Minister Secretariat registered the time of receiving the show cause notice as 8:05 PM, January 16.
