President, PM discuss political situation, law and order

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday. Current political situation and law and order were discussed during the meeting.

The president briefed the prime minister about his meeting on the law and order situation in Karachi on Monday. Situation in Balochistan was also discussed.

Issues relating to the power crisis in the country and the measures taken thus far to redress the situation were also discussed.

The forthcoming budget session of the Parliament also came under discussion. The president also apprised the prime minister about his visit to Chicago to attend NATO Summit.
