The federal government has planned to provide relief to the masses amid biting inflation and announced a massive subsidy on petrol for motorcyclists and the owners of 800CC cars.
The scheme will be finalised in six weeks for which all the analysis has been completed by the relevant authorities.
State Minister for Petroleum Musadik Malik has shared the government’s strategy to provide petrol at subsidised rates.
The minister also assured that it will not affect the International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme as it is cross-subsidy and the rich will be charged more in order to grant relief to the poor.
