The deceased was identified as Haider Ali alias Saleem who the police say was the last surviving eye witnesses in Wali Khan Babar's murder case.
Geo News reporter Wali Khan Babar had been shot dead while he was heading home in his car from office in Liaquatabad area in January 2011.
