Pakistan is in the grip of crises: Nawaz Sharif

MAILSI: PML-N President Nawaz Sharif said Friday that Pakistan was in the grip of crises but it would once again be steered towards the path of prosperity.

During a rally in Mailsi, Nawaz asked: "Who will take Pakistan out of the crises?"

Nawaz said there was no gas or electricity in the country yet consumers would receive bills without any hesitation.

He prayed that the PML-N would be successful in the upcoming elections. “The by-elections were a trailer, the (full) movie is yet to come.”

Nawaz added that corruption in Pakistan had reached into the billions and the country had accumulated more debt in the last four years compared to the figure maintained over the past sixty years.

“People know what I did for the country,” Nawaz said as he reminded those in attendance of the achievements of the government during the PML-N’s tenure.
