As the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) reached an agreement to form a future government, the joint press conference held by both parties' leadership saw a lighter moment with Asif Ali Zardari calling Bilawal Bhutto his "prince charming".

During Tuesday's press conference held in Islamabad, Zardari, who was seen seated with Bilawal and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif on either side placed his hand on the PPP chairman's shoulder and called him "prince charming” and addressed Shehbaz as "my brother (bhai)".

Zardari's comments came amid a tense political environment as the two parties, engaged in negotiations for government formation, finally agreed to join hands with the PML-N getting the prime minister's slot whereas the PPP co-chairman is to be the joint candidate for the president's office.

The remarks seemingly caught Bilawal off guard who can be seen smirking on his father's comments.

However, Bilawal is not the only one who reacted this way as netizens are seemingly also amused by Zardari's remarks.

Prominent lawyer Reema Omar termed Bilawal’s spontaneous reaction to being called "mera prince charming”  by his father "relatable".

"Pakistani parents will be Pakistani parents, no matter who they are or what they do," said another.

Meanwhile, another social media user said: "We all know this feeling."

Another user couldn't help but react to Bilawal's reaction to his father's remarks.
