David Beckham welcomes Neymar in Miami

Brazilian star footballer Neymar landed in Miami and is being hosted for a dinner by Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham Friday, brushing aside any speculations that could stem from the meet-up of the stars.
There had been speculations about Neymar and his possible bid for Inter Miami as the 32-year-old had told ESPN Argentina that he would love to play with the famous striker Lionel Messi.
"Hopefully we can play together again. [Lionel Messi] is a great person, everyone knows him in football and I think he is very happy and if he is happy, I am too."
A post was released on social media by David Beckham Friday in which Neymar is pictured in the centre with the Miami co-owner and his wife Victoria Beckham.
The caption of the post read: "Welcome to Miami my friend (only for dinner)."
The Brazilian striker signed a contract with a Saudi football club Al Hilal last year. Currently, he is recovering from an injury as he tore his ACL in October 2023.
The injury in his left knee occurred in the first half of Brazil’s 2-0 loss to Uruguay.
Al Hilal then did not announce the possible date for his recovery but he was anticipated to recover with a time from six months to twelve months.
