Hannah Waddingham addresses hidden insecurity

Hannah Waddingham recently opened up about her hidden insecurity.

In a recent interview with People Magazine for their Beautiful Issue, the Ted Lasso star talked about her early age.

During this chat, Hannah was also asked if there was something that she wish she had known in her 20s.

Replying to the query, the 49-year-old star admitted, “Yeah, that my height and my strength of character.”

She also explained, “I wish I could whisper in my ear when I was 20, ‘Just keep quietly plugging at it,’ because eventually, it won't matter.”

The Game of Thrones even confessed that she faced hurdles due to her height “back in the day.”

“It was always, ‘Oh, we've cast this person, that person," all the time. It was always a bloke first. And I wish I could have said to myself, "Just wait. Just wait. Just bide your time,’” the mother of one continued.

“But would that have made me behave differently in my career? I don't know. But I think that was the thing through my 20s and a bit into my 30s as well, feeling self-conscious of my size, whereas now, f**** it,” she said in conclusion.
