Johnny Depp reportedly finds himself similar to his new role in Jeanne du Barry.

As fans will know, the former husband of Amber Heard is currently receiving praise for his acting in new theatrical release, Jeanne du Barry.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor recently had a candid conversation with Mark Salisbury and shared that he found solace in his new character.

The 60-year-old actor noted, "I think for someone in that position, and again, some of this stuff resonates for me,” joking, “not that I'm a king of any sort."

"But it resonates just in the sense that this guy, within his circle, let's say, within his world, he had to be available kind of at all times,” Johnny even admitted.

He also addressed, "And yet he was, in a sense, hidden away and living his life that way. So the layers between him and the real world, they start to get thicker and weirder,” Depp shared.

Johnny also professed in this chat that a part of him is “kind of cut off from the world,” and concluded his chat.
