ISLAMABAD: The report released by Punjab Forensic Science Agency says that samples indicate that prior to death, the NAB investigator Kamran Faisal had swollen blood veins on one side of his forehead and the left side of his neck while blood clots were also found underneath some portions of his skin.
The rope by which Kamran Faisal was found hanging also had DNAs of another person, the report said.
However, the forensic report has not made it clear whether the swollen veins and blood clots under the skin were result of any kind of torture.
The Punjab Forensic Science Agency that functions under Punjab Home Department reported the above findings after examining the samples collected from the exhumed body of Kamran Faisal's wrist, arms, shoulders, neck and forehead.
The report clearly says that no trace of poison or use of excessive amount of drugs was found in the forensic examination. This makes it clear that Kamran Faisal was neither poisoned nor was he administered anything else to make him unconscious.
The samples collected from the body of Kamran Faisal show that he did not bleed, the report said, adding the hanging only caused a slight crack in his neck.
