Prince Harry debunked reports that the Buckingham Palace has offered him accommodation during his upcoming visit to the UK.

The Duke of Sussex also dismissed reports claiming he would receive "limited police protection" during his stay as he is set to miss the first day of his trial against News Group Newspapers (NGN), the publisher of The Sun.

According to People Magazine, the Duke of Sussex would arrive in the UK in February as he is scheduled to testify in court then.

Harry has accused NGN of phone hacking and other privacy violations between 1996 and 2011. However, they have denied any wrongdoing.

Recent reports by multiple outlets alleged that Met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley agreed to provide Harry with armed officers from the Royalty and Specialist Protection Command.

An insider also shared with The Mirror that the Buckingham Palace has offered accommodation to the Duke of Sussex but he has turned down their offers.

In a conversation with the publication, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams suggested that Harry declined the alleged offer as a form of "protest.”

The expert also claimed that Harry may decide to opt for hotel accommodation instead of the Palace, as he did during his previous court appearance in 2023.
