KARACHI: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has denied reports over contacts between the PTI and the Muttahida Qaumi Movemet (MQM).
A PTI spokesman termed the news about contacts between both the parties as baseless.
Earlier reports said MQM and PTI have exchanged views in a bid to form united opposition in the National Assembly.
According to reports PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi had telephoned MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar.
Farooq Sattar was reported as having told the PTI leader that MQM’s doors were open for negotiations.
Both the parties have been at loggerheads since May 11 general elections over rigging allegations in Karachi.
